Royal Belfast subscribes to the Standards of Dress recommended by Golf Ireland. Whilst we wish our visitors to feel at ease, smart dress is required at all times and we would ask you to observe our dress standards.

Not Permitted in the Clubhouse:

Any denim wear, collarless tee shirts, flip flops, caps and hats, wet or dirty clothing. Shorts are not permitted in formal areas.

On the Course:

Members, guests and visitors are expected to wear suitable golf attire, with no denim or collarless tee shirts. Tailored golf shorts only may be worn. Ladies must wear the appropriate equivalent. Members must ensure that their guests are aware of the Club’s Dress Code Policy.

Mobile Phones:

Phone calls may only be made or received in the Atrium at the player’s entrance. Mobile phones should be on silent mode at all times.

Smoking:

Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is not permitted in the Clubhouse
